Due to security and preservation reasons, large bags, suitcases, and backpacks exceeding 30cm x 20cm x 15cm are not permitted inside the Royal Alcázar. Visitors must deposit these items in the free cloakroom located at the entrance. Please note that access to certain areas, like the Royal Apartments, may have further restrictions on bag size.
Photography & Filming
Photography and videography for personal use are generally permitted in most areas of the Alcázar, including the gardens and courtyards. However, flash photography, tripods, and professional equipment are prohibited without prior authorization. Photography is strictly forbidden in the Royal Apartments and other designated sensitive areas to protect the collections and ensure visitor flow. Please respect all signage.
Food & Drink
To preserve the delicate historic environment, consumption of food and beverages is strictly prohibited inside all palaces, exhibition rooms, and enclosed areas of the Alcázar. You are welcome to enjoy refreshments in the designated cafe areas within the gardens. Please dispose of all waste properly in the bins provided.
